Allow Pop-Ups from Blackboard
- Select the Safari menu (Mac) or Edit menu (PC)
- Deselect Block Pop-Up Windows.

Install Java (if not already installed)
- Windows users, visit http://java.com/en/
 to download and install the latest version of Java.
- Mac users, Java is built-in. Be sure to check Apple's Software Updates regularly.

Enable Java (if not already enabled)
- Select the Safari menu (Mac) or Edit menu (PC)
- Select Preferences.
- Choose the Security tab.
- Make sure there is a check in the box next to Enable Java.
- Close the Preferences window.

Enable Cookies (if not already enabled)
- Select the Safari menu (Mac) or Edit menu (PC)
- Select Preferences.
- Choose the Security tab.
- Next to Accept Cookies," select *Only from sites you navigate to.
- Close the Preferences window.

Enable JavaScript (if not already enabled)
- Select the Safari menu (Mac) or Edit menu (PC)
- Select Preferences.
- Choose the Security tab.
- Make sure there is a check in the box next to Enable JavaScript.
- Close the Preferences window.

Clear Browser Cache (for troubleshooting purposes only)
- Select the Safari menu (Mac) or Edit menu (PC)
- Select Empty Cache.
- Choose the Security tab.
- When prompted, select Empty.

- Select the Safari menu (Mac) or Edit menu (PC)
- Select Preferences.
- Choose the Security tab.
- Click Show Cookies.
- Click Remove All.
- Close the Preferences window.
